The New Motion Tackler V5 is certainly a tackling sled, except this tackling sled has one large difference from other sleds, it can MOVE! The coach holds onto the coaching bar and pushes the sled at the player, thus creating movement. As the player tackles the sled the coach can continue to hold onto the coaching bar and provide resistance or simply let go.

One of the new features is the coach can now angle the S Pad at will. For instance, as the tackler approaches the coach can angle the S Pad down, simulating the ball carriers going lower before contact. And the new sled is now easier to tackle to the ground and upright, and also lighter to move. When a player hits the sled and lifts the pad 2, it engages the brake. The brake stops the sled from rolling back at the coach and allows the player to take the sled to the ground. Call it the Gretzky because its not where the ball carrier is, its where hes going!

The Motion Tackler bridges the gap between static tackling and live tackling without the risk of injuring another player. The Motion Tackler takes the wear and tear off beating each other up. Tackling and blocking is what the sport of football is all about, but hits can add up on the players bodies and create injuries. New rules and guidelines are calling for less contact during practice.
